WINERY IN CINIGIANO-ZONE MONTECUCCO DOC

The farm is located in the municipality of Cinigiano- Grosseto in the Montecucco DOC wine production area and has an area of about 25 hectares of which:
-7.50 ha planted to vines in 2005, (sixth 80×250- density 5000 plants/ha)
-1.00 ha planted to vineyards in 2013, (sixth 80×250- density 5000 plants/ha)
-1.00 ha planted to vineyard in 2015, (sixth 80×250- density 5000 plants/ha)
-2.00 ha shrub pasture
-6.00 ha allocated to coppice forest
-the rest headlands, roads and tares.
All 9.50 ha of vineyards are registered with DOC Montecucco, the varieties present are:
-8.50ha Sangiovese
-0.50ha Merlot
-0.50 ha toSyrah
Additional 1.50 ha of vineyard ( shares already owned) and 0.50 ha of specialized olive grove are planned in the PMAA, already approved.
All vineyards are equipped with an irrigation system.
The vineyards are cultivated in Integrated Struggle well on the way to organic.
Mostly hilly terrain with slight slopes.
On the farm there is a building used as a tool shed of 300 square meters of very recent construction.
The following are planned and already approved for construction:
-an agricultural annex used as a cellar of 800 sqm( expandable further).
-a rural building part for residential use for the entrepreneur, part for use as a multipurpose agricultural annex of 240 sqm.
-a reservoir for water collection, already under construction.
In 2017, more than 3km of fencing was built to protect the vineyard from wild boarsand other animals,
Near the farm we find the vineyards of important companies such as Banfìe Masi.
The company has a large fleet of machinery that can be included in the negotiation if of interest at a price to be evaluated.
